Refund policy

At Japan Adventure, we want every customer to feel confident when purchasing Japanese hobby items from overseas.
Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

・The item arrived damaged, defective, or significantly different from the  description or photos.

・The customer contacts us within 7 days of receiving the item.

・The customer provides photos or video showing the issue clearly.

Returns for reasons such as “changed my mind,” “accidentally ordered,” or “did not like the item” are not accepted.


2. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a refund:

・The item must be returned in the same condition it was received.

・All original packaging, accessories, tags, and protection materials must be included.

・Items damaged due to improper handling by the customer are not eligible.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

・Blind-box items, mystery packs, gacha items

・Opened trading cards or card packs

・Used or vintage hobby items sold “as-is”

・Sale items or discounted items

・Digital products


4. Return Shipping Costs

・If the item is damaged or incorrect:
We cover return shipping costs or provide alternative compensation.

・For all other cases:
→ Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service.


5. Refund Method

・Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the returned item.

・Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

・Shipping costs paid at checkout are non-refundable, except in cases of our mistake.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear.


6. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order is marked as “delivered,” we cannot issue refunds for lost or stolen packages.
Please contact your local postal service for assistance.


7. Customs Fees & Import Taxes

・Customers are responsible for all import duties, VAT, and customs fees.

・These fees are non-refundable, even if a return is approved.


8. How to Request a Return

  3. Description of the problem

We will respond within 48 hours.
